Monsma Marketing, a distributor of branded building materials in the construction materials industry, announced last week it had been awarded DuPont Tyvek’s ‘Distributor of the Year’ for 2023; after years of being the runner-up, Monsma Marketing locked in the top position. The honor marked the company’s fifth win in 22 years.

In a Feb 16 news release, Monsma noted that DuPont Tyvek awards the honor to distributors that demonstrate “outstanding service, demand creation, and market growth.” Criteria for consideration include corporate integrity, community stewardship, respect for customers, initiative, passion, creativity, business planning, and market leadership. 

“We are honored to receive the DuPont Tyvek Distributor of the Year award for 2023,” said Brian Stephens, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Monsma. “This achievement is a testament to [our entire team’s] hard work and dedication.” 

In addition to the Distributor of the Year award, Dave Webster, one of Monsma’s Tyvek Specialists, received Residential Specialist of the Year; Webster was picked from 150 North American Tyvek Specialists. Monsma said Webster’s outstanding contributions to the business and wins were particularly noteworthy, considering he is only two years into his Specialist role.
