Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Van Mark Products, a manufacturer of portable metal bending and forming tools used in the siding and metal roofing industries, announced earlier this month it had hired Scott Totin as Regional Sales Manager to focus on territorial growth.

The company said Totin would oversee a significant portion of Van Mark’s business-to-business accounts, focusing on growing existing business and seeking new opportunities within his territory, which spans much of the continental United States and portions of Canada.

“We are excited to have Scott join the Van Mark sales team.” Gary Weinert, director of Sales & Marketing, said in a statement. “[Scott] has decades of experience in the construction industry and has held roles on multiple sides of the business.” 

Van Mark said Totin has more than two decades of experience in construction, management, and sales, most recently as sales representative at Zeeland Lumber, a regional building products supplier in Western Michigan and Northern Indiana. 

“Scott’s understanding of the various facets of the industry, paired with plenty of existing relationships, adds a lot of value and experience to Van Mark,” Weinert said.

Before his role at Zeeland, Totin managed installation crews with Pella Windows and held a sales position with ABC Supply Co., among other jobs.
