Combilift, the global manufacturer of multi-directional forklifts, has launched its newest product, the COMBi-CUBE, a new electric model forklift that incorporates several innovative technological and design features at the LogiMAT International Intralogistics show in Stuttgart, Germany.

In a news release, Combilift said its new electric COMBi-CUBE has enhanced handling procedures and offers a high level of driver comfort, not to mention its bold “Combi-green” color, which the company says will contribute to improved safety since the trucks will be easily visible in their environment.

Aside from its verdant shade, the company says its principal focus is on a number of ergonomic features, including how the driver’s position in the cab’s center offers generous room and excellent all-around visibility.

The angle of the telescopic steering column is adjustable, and according to the company, the Grammer MSG65 seat combined with hydraulic cabin mounts guarantees a comfortable ride. An adjustable armrest is also mounted to the seat suspension and incorporates a multi-function joystick with an LCD color touch screen.

Combilift’s dynamic 360 steering allows for seamless directional change while mobile and can be integrated into the Combi-CUBE as an optional extra, making it “the most maneuverable counterbalance forklift on the market.”

Other features include the large rear wheel and rubber tires on all three wheels, which offer the ability to navigate uneven terrain versus being restricted to flat floors; it is suitable for working indoors and out. For quicker battery changeover during heavy shifts, two new easy-change roll-out batteries are provided.

“Our engineers and R&D department have been tirelessly preparing for a year of new launches,” said Combilift CEO and Co-Founder Martin McVicar. “Combi-CUBE is proof of our continued commitment to provide the best and most innovative handling solutions for our worldwide customers.”
