MHI, the leading international trade association representing the material handling, logistics and supply chain industry, announced on Tuesday it had surpassed 1,000 members, marking what it described as a “significant achievement in our dedication to advancing the supply chain and supporting our members.”

In an April 9 news release, the organization said the material handling industry has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years, driven by technological advancements, globalization, and evolving consumer demands.

“Our surge in membership is a testament to MHI’s commitment to providing industry leadership, mutually beneficial connections, and unique knowledge,” MHI CEO John Paxton said. “With the record-setting growth of our MODEX and ProMat exhibitions, MHI continues to offer its members unrivaled business opportunities.”

With a community comprising manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, integrators, consultants, educators, and practitioners, MHI said it is a collaborative platform for all industry stakeholders.
