At the end of August, Owens Corning announced that Nicolas Del Monaco had been appointed president of the company’s global Insulation business; his tenure begins effective September 15, 2023.

In an August 25 news release, OC said that Del Monaco will succeed Todd Fister, who will be moving to the C-suite as the company’s chief financial officer. Del Monaco will report directly to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Brian Chambers and serve as a company Executive Committee member.

Del Monaco joined Owens Corning in 2000 and most recently served as senior vice president and managing director of the company’s European operations, leading a team of 4,400 employees spanning both the Insulation and Composites businesses.

Immediately prior to that, he served as vice president of non-wovens and glass reinforcements in Europe. During his tenure with the company, he has also held a variety of finance, operations, and general management roles.

Del Monaco and his family will be relocating to Toledo, Ohio, from France.
