In today’s digital world, it’s almost expected that people inherently know how to use technology, or are up-to-date on the latest apps. That’s simply not so, says Wade Baughn, vice president at American Home Specialists.

“If you look at all the construction arts — HVAC and all that — I think roofing itself is a little bit slower to progress, and sometimes we jump way ahead … of where our level is today.”

Baughn has trained thousands of contractors over the years, and in this conversation with RSP Publisher Jill Bloom, he notes that even some of the largest contractors aren’t using technology to make their operations smoother. This is a perfect opportunity for distributors to become a resource to their customers.
