Linetec, a single-source solution manufacturer of architectural finishing, including architectural metal components, announced today it added Aaron du Pont as a client development manager serving the Great Lakes region as well as Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee and Mississippi.
The company, based in Wausau, Wis., said in a Nov. 8 news release that DuPont would assist manufacturers of architectural aluminum components, products and systems with their selection and specification of paint coatings, anodize and specialty finishes.
Drawing from more than 20 years of sales experience, Linetec said du Pont most recently worked as a territory sales manager for Wisconsin Lifting Specialists, providing cranes, hoists, hardware, safety equipment and other material handling products. In his previous roles, he also sold security services, robots and pneumatic tools.
Earlier in his career, du Pont was a transportation supervisor for Wisconsin’s Marathon County Government. In addition to managing, training and scheduling a team of drivers, he also ensured compliance with federal, state, county and local regulations and other safety requirements.
The company noted how du Pont, who will work out of Linetec’s Wausau headquarters, has been an active community volunteer and coach. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in business and sociology.
DuPont also studied accounting at Upper Iowa University and completed the industrial safety engineering and ergonomics program at Northcentral Technical College, continuing his professional development and earning several certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt license.
