Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Ambassador Supply announcing the hiring of Alex Johnson as regional operations component manager; previously, he was the location manager at Zeeland Lumber and Supply, according to a Nov. 1 news release.
“Alex brings nearly 15 years of LBM experience, managing facilities in Michigan and Indiana,” said
Marty Stiffler, Ambassador Supply’s vice president of Components. “With an extensive background in manufacturing processes and procedures in floor trusses, roof trusses, wall panels, and EWP, we’re confident Alex will help us continue to grow and impact the building supply industry.”
In his new role as regional operations component manager, Johnson will work closely with facilities on reviewing, creating, and implementing operational processes while ‘”…using his Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification,” the release said.
Additionally, Johnson will establish an engineered wood products program for specific markets within the components plant to help meet the evolving needs of our customers.
