MHI, the trade association representing the material handling, logistics and supply chain industry, recently announced the expansion of Christy Dula’s role to Chief Experience and Digital Technology Officer.

In an October 18 news release on the group’s website, MHI said Dula’s expanded role includes managing information technology and membership teams to expand engagement with MHI members and other stakeholders.

MHI said it is building a cohesive member experience that will “seamlessly blend the in-person and digital” experiences, providing enhanced member experiences and deeper engagement.

"Christy’s new role allows her to leverage both her extensive customer experience and digital skill sets to grow MHI’s member satisfaction, drive deeper engagement and widen our reach to the overall manufacturing and supply chain community," said MHI CEO John Paxton.

"Her expertise is a tremendous asset to MHI,” Paxton added. “I’m excited to see how she will take MHI to the next level of in-person and digital engagement."

Dula joined MHI in 2018 as Chief Digital Officer with a career that included 20 years of experience in information technology, customer experience and management consulting largely in the retail industry.

"I’m honored to take on this expanded role at MHI to create more memorable member experiences both in-person and through our digital landscape," Dula said. "I look forward to working with the IT and membership teams to build on our work to deliver superior experiences and continuously enhance member value."
