The GLO Group, a business firm specializing in brand engagement and organizational health, announced national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC Certification is the gold standard for women-owned business certification in the United States.

“Aside from the many resources that become available by being certified as a women-owned business, the greatest benefit is to companies that are looking to engage our firm in implementing transformation within their organizations," said Co-Founder Melissa Chapman. "WBENC Certification matters to those companies that are committed to their Environment Social Governance (ESG) program by partnering with a diverse group of service providers.”

The process for WBENC certification includes an in-depth review of the business and a site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women, and that the business has appropriate structure and strategic business planning and implementation in place.

“We are honored to be among a distinguished community of women-owned businesses. We believe that by partnering with our team of experts, companies will see immediate and sustainable growth in their businesses," said Monica Vornbrock, GLO Group's co-founder.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs, which in turn empowers women as leaders and brings about a more diverse, balanced, and sustainable economy.
